Ubuntu Chain Bracelet | Sterling Silver
“I am what I am because of who we all are.”
Ubuntu (oo-boon-to) is a Nguni Bantu term meaning humanity and the belief in a universal bond of sharing that connects all humanity. When that connection is deeply felt it’s transformative. Even small actions have a big impact. When we respect each other, the environment, and ourselves, life blossoms. The world stamped on this bracelet is a reminder that we are all connected.
This piece was designed in collaboration with The Art of Courage (TAOC) and Worlds Collide. Each purchase feeds one child for a year at the Tchukudu Kids Home in Goma, the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The Ubuntu silver bracelet features an image of the world hand-stamped and cast into sterling silver. The plate is organic in shape and imperfect. It is strung on a heavy double chain and has an oversized lobster clasp.
